Jesus tells us in Matthew 28:19 for believers to make disciples of all nations. What better place to begin than in our own church family?

What are D-Groups? Glad you asked! D-Groups (short for Discipleship Groups) are groups of 4-6 people that focus on leaders discipling leaders and/or future leaders. It is designed to foster closeness and sharing between members as they study God's Word together. Proverbs 27:17 says, "Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another." (ESV)

When and where do D-Groups meet? They meet once a week for an hour or hour and a half in homes, at restaurants, at the park, wherever and whenever your group decides!

Who can be part of a D-Group? You don't have to be a theologian to lead or attend, just a regular attender of worship and Groups. Men should meet with other men and women should meet with other women.

How long do D-Groups meet? D-Groups meet at least for 6 months, preferably 10-12 months, but can meet for longer.

How can I join or lead a D-Group? First, PRAY over who God wants you to be in a D-Group with. Several groups have already formed, so if you are interested in leading one or participating in one, Pastor Joe wants to help connect you. Email him at — Also if you have started one let him know as well.
